Terms of Use
These terms apply to the use of ePassport, in the browser or in the mobile apps. By creating an account or continuing to use it, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
1. What ePassport is, and is not
ePassport is a digital travel notebook: stamps, flights, stays, widgets and a traveler profile. It is not an official document, does not replace a passport or any identity document, and is not proof of entry into or exit from any country.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. The account is personal and non-transferable; use a real email and keep your password to yourself.
3. Your account and your @
The public username (@) has 3 to 20 characters, only lowercase letters, digits, dot and underscore. Some names are reserved. We may refuse or remove a handle that offends, misleads or impersonates a person, brand or institution. You can change yours whenever you want.
4. What you can and cannot do
Use is personal and non-commercial. You may not: reverse engineer the app; scrape or bulk-copy data; create automated accounts; use ePassport for document fraud; abuse the flight search service (there is a limit of 20 searches per person per day); publish in your bio content that is illegal, offensive or infringes third-party rights.
5. Your content
Stamps, bio, photo, travel data: they are yours. You grant us a license only to display them to you and, for what you mark as public (@, bio, photo, stats, collectibles, journeys), to whoever visits your profile. You are responsible for what you publish. The license ends when you delete your account.
6. Public profile
What other people can see is what section 5 lists. We never publish passport numbers, exact stamp dates, card data or your real-time location. You can make your profile private or remove your @ at any time.
7. Third-party data and accuracy
Flight times come from external sources and may be wrong or outdated. Exchange rates, weather and time zones are informational. The day radar (for example, the Schengen area) is a calculation based on what you typed and is not legal or immigration advice. Always check with the airline, consulate or competent authority before making travel decisions.
7a. The health card
The health card keeps what you write down, for you to show when needed. It is not an official document: the vaccination certificate that counts at the border is the official one (in Brazil, the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis, issued by Anvisa). ePassport gives no medical advice, does not check what you write and does not replace a doctor or emergency service. In an emergency, call the local number (in Brazil, 192).
7b. Limits on AI features
AI features (questions to Alfred and readings of screenshots, photos and stamps) have daily and monthly usage limits. The AI counter, in the app itself, shows how much is left and when it comes back; when paid plans open, each plan's limits will also be on the plans page, which is the one that counts. A boarding pass read by the camera is read on your device and does not count. When a limit is reached, the feature comes back the next day (or month), and the rest of the app keeps working. We may change the limits, with notice in the app before the change applies.
8. Intellectual property
The ePassport brand, logo, texts and code are ours. Flags, emoji and geographic data come from third parties under free licenses, listed under Licenses.
9. Availability and changes
ePassport is under development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice and data export will be available until then.
10. Termination
You can delete your account whenever you want, in the app or through the Delete account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice and a chance to export data, except in cases of fraud.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for travel decisions made based on the app, for incorrect data from third parties, for unavailability of external services, or for loss of data that existed only on your device. Nothing here reduces the rights consumer law guarantees you.
12. Law and jurisdiction
Brazilian law applies, with jurisdiction at the consumer's domicile (Consumer Defense Code, art. 101). If you reside in the European Union, the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence prevail (Rome I Regulation, art. 6). Before any dispute, talk to us: contact@epassportapp.com.
13. Changes to these terms
We notify you in the app when the terms change in a relevant way and update the date at the top.
